Greetings all,

As you may have read, I have been upgrading my machine that does the
list (my only machine).  It was not painless, but I seem to have muddled
through it all.  I will try to get all the backlogged postings out.
Unfortunately, I lost some of the postings that were sent in.  I had mail
working, downloaded them, then had to reinstall and format the disk
without getting the opportunity to back them up.  I'm sorry about that,
and this mess.  I thought it would be a bit smoother, since I did it twice
at work a while back.

I'm not sure what will happen in the coming weeks, so if I disappear
without a trace, it's because something happened.  I'll do all I can to
make sure it doesn't happen, but one never knows.
