  On my sync. gaps, I use a NEMA cradle-mount. I adjust the phase
angles by loosening the clamps and rotate the motor. I have seen
other sync. gap designs that used the NEMA face mount. In that case,
a rotary table on a mill was needed to cut the curved slots for the
clamping screws.
