Greetings,

While scrounging, I discovered an excellent source for sheet metal centers
for home made toroids -- The pan from a Christmas tree stand.  They are
about 18" diameter and fairly smooth.  I'll let all know how the
construction project goes.

Also at the junk yard I saw a torque converter from an automatic
transmission. Looked very toroidal to me....
