Chip,
Storey has been doing a great behind-the-scenes job moderating the
List. Many times he has forwarded e-mail to me that should have been
sent by private post in the first place, thus cutting down on the
clutter that sometimes appears on the list. Recently I sent two
posts... one a correction to the first when I noticed within seconds
of sending the post that I had made an error. Storey actually read my
correction and made the correction to the original before sending it
out to the list. This not only made for less clutter on the list, but
also hid the fact from all the list's members that I had made a
mistake in the first place. :)

A good moderator does more than just prune out the mail that doesn't
belong on the list, and all these little unseen acts of moderating
*DO* take time, day in and day out. This Tesla List is probably one
of the most active and useful lists on the internet. This is a pat on
the back for all the members, but in a special sense, it is an
affirmation that our moderator(s) on this list are doing an
*EXCELLENT* job!

Thank you, Storey, and thank you Chip!
