Subject:  Boston Musuem Of Science

List,

Is any body familiar with the details of the vacuum tube coil at the Boston
Museum of Science?
The coil seems oddly arranged, like there are two primaries or something.
Do the tubes act as amplifier for a high frequency generator,or do they
somehow mimic the behavior of the spark gap. The guy doing the demo
wouldn't let me look at the electronics more closely.
