I got this from another list that I subscribe to. It is a good source for
some things used in tesla coiling. McMaster-Carr is now online.
Apparently it's possible to order from them.

They carry the polycarbonate sheets and rounds I discussed in my star plate
article.
They also carry aluminum, brass, etc. as well as:
Woven wire cloth - for screening comps?
Perforated metal - star sizing?
Shafts, pulleys, bearings - ball mill or star roller?
Kraft paper - shells?
Spray bottles - chemical resistant for misting stars?
Acrylic cement - for plastic star plate?
Nichrome wire - making your own ematches?
If you can think of it, try a search - I'll bet they have it!
I'm not in any way associated with these people - it's just nice to have a
spot to find most anything, their pricing is usually pretty good also.
They have no problem with small orders and have gotten mine out quickly.
