Magnetron Magnets=Chokes.....

Just a comment here. If you wind the core in the normal sense the magnetic
field is inside the core. If I remember right a magnetron magnet has an
external field, i.e. it is axial. It would seem to be the wrong type of
material, but why not try it and find out.
