You'd probably get marginal results at best and it's quite a bit easier
to construct one using a couple of bolts and some angle iron.  The
problem as I see it is that the electrodes in spark plugs a tiny and
aren't designed to extinguish quickly (I think).  If you decide to try
it, let us know how it works.
