Hello to everybody on the list!
I'm a new Tesla Coil builder and I'm building a 4"-secondary coil system. The
tank circuit is fed with 8KV generated from microwave oven surplus parts.
And, of course, I got a lot of questions...:)
My first question:

I got some surplus Maxwell capacitors model 30561 0.1uF 25KV with following
specs:
Capacitance: 0.1uF 25KV
Rated peak current: 5 KA
Max peak current: 25 KA
Max ripple freq.: 10 KHz
Max RMS current: 25 A RMS
Max Dissipation factor: 0.3% -at- 120 Hz
Inductance: 80 nH
They are enclosed in metal cans and have got ceramic terminals. I don't know
about the dielectric used.
Will they work with my Tesla Coil (frequency about 150 KHz) or will they
warm-up in 10 seconds and blow?

Please, check my tank power supply schematics (no filters yet included): any
chance that it would NOT work for a Tesla Coil? See the attached Word file.
