Re: capacitive or sat.reactor ballast?



So then no one has any resons not to use capacitors for ballast? And I 
know a resonant situation might be bad...but how do you calculate what 
value for C would equal 60Hz resonance? I would amagine the 240V winding 
exceeds my inductance meter.
