Terry,

I wish you _would_ post this!  You apparently missed the point I was
attempting to make here.  It wasn't anything to do actually with Malcolm
Watts.  Malcolm had explained that he had done pretty much all the
little tricks and experiments (like putting rubber and carbon electrodes
on a TC, etc) that the Corums and Tesla himself did, and that all he got
to show for his efforts were some whimpy little glowing balls
distributed along the streamers.  This is the 'Ball Lightning as
produced by a Tesla coil Club' I was referring to.  Stated another way,
'You haven't really produced ball lightning, and it looks like you
probably cannot with a Tesla coil.'

If you'd like, go ahead and post this entire page as it is now including
my explanation.
