As a renter of professional Tesla coils (to TV, Film and
Theater) I find your cost estimate for a seven foot capable
coil absolutely incredible.

Yes, I know we're talking about apples and oranges (big time),
but even the worst homebuilt death trap is going to cost more
than $200.

If somebody wants to get into coiling on a hobby level, I feel it is
only fair to warn them that they need to shell out more than $200
to get seven footers.

For professional rentals to professional clientele, see one of the
professional companies on this list such as Tesla Technology
Research, Lindsay Scientific Co., Wingate Electric, my company
