RE: Small coil ideas?

You can do this by studying Telsa Coil design. It's a proven scientific
fact.

First, look at all the sites on the Telsa Coil Webring
http://www.webring-dot-org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=TeslaRing&list

Read Richie's excellent Tesla Site once a day for about a week
http://www.staff.ncl.ac.uk/r.e.burnett/

Be sure and read all of Terry Fritz's papers as well (use same procedure as
mentioned above)
http://www.peakpeak-dot-com/~terryf/tesla/main.html

Then think up a question and do a quick search on the TCML archive
http://www.pupman-dot-com/

Finally, run the numbers on your prospective coil and post your design here
(on the TCML) to get final opinions before wiring it all up. Before long
you will be throwing massive arcs all over the place!

Have fun,
Ross Overstreet from SoCal
