Hi All,
         for primary circuit wiring you shouldn't bother with HV cable - when 
there's voltage on the coil you can't get that close anyway.  The best stuff 
to use is 2guage super flexible OFC - it can handle 250A continuously.  That 
stuff might seem expensive at 5$ per metre but is there really any point in 
spending lots of time and money on a nice primary cap, coil etc and then 
skimping a few bucks for cable?
If you have a power supply some distance from the coil then you should 
definitely use HV cable to hook it up but for the high current RF cabling 
forget it.
