Can someone tell me how to find the break rate of a stationary gap. Which is better a high break rate or a low break rate? Example: a coil running from a potential transformer with a .05uf cap at 3kw. If I were to use a rotary gap what would be the optimal break rate for a 7.2kv transformer with a .05uf cap at 3kw be?(classic TC not a magnifier) Also, can someone tell me how to find peak gap voltages and how to find peak capacitor voltages.
