Re: Tufnell??

Hello All,

If I remember correctly Tufnell really is a Phenol-Formaldehyde plastic. It is
pretty hard, but at the same time it is not brittle, like some P-F plastics
can be. The real guy to ask would be Robert Cressler (Rob are you out there
?). He is our plastics expert on the List.

Sorry I couldnīt be of more help this time.

Coiler greets from germany,
Reinhard

 Hi Ralph
I was hopeing someone on the list would tell me that?
All I can say is it has the apperance of "Bakelite" not sure what the
chemical make up is but I suspect it may be a Phenol Formaldehyde
 compound.
Any info on the matter would be a big help.
