VARIACS
Good in Tesla coil use for transformer or gap vacuum fan.
#1 marked 5A, very good cond, knob & dial plate (0-130), 115 in 130
out, fully
enclosed. Will handle 15kv/30ma transformer easily. Very easy
to connect & use, has 2 binding posts for input & 2 for output. $29.00
#2 marked 10A, very good cond, knob & dial plate (0-140), 120 in 140
out,
enclosed. Will handle 15kv/60ma transformer easily. $50.00
#3 marked 1.75A, good cond, Staco brand, with knob & dial plate, 120 in
132 out,
not enclosed. Should handle 9kv/30ma or 10kv/20ma transformer. $8.00
#4 estimated 20A, with knob & dial plate (0-100), 115 in 135 out, not
enclosed,
like new. Should handle 15kv/120ma transformer easily. $60.00
All can probably be used at higher current for short periods, such as
in Tesla coils.
HV WIRE
"GTO" new neon transformer wire, 15KV, 14 gauge, very flexible,
$0.50/foot
40KV, 20 gauge (for lower current) $1.50 for 3 ft

PFC CAPACITORS
50 uF, 525 VAC continuous, Aerovox, metal can body, used(?), untested,
appear good cond. For Power Factor Correction with neon transformers
for Tesla coils (reduces current drawn by transformer, so may allow use
of
a smaller variac). "No PCBs". $6.00 ea.
MA AC METER
0-50 mA AC, measure neon transformer current directly, metal enclosure
with binding posts on top makes it easy to use, fuse, good cond $12.00
50W POWER RHEOSTATS, 500, 800, 2.5K, 3.5K ohms $6.00 ea.
SPECTRUM TUBES
Used, CENCO (made in USA), choice of 4 colors: helium (pink-beige),
neon (orange-red), mercury (blue), nitrogen (violet-pink). Bright
colorful

PORCELAIN INSULATORS
Tapering cylinder shape, 4.5" long, 2.1" diameter at base. With
removable metal cover which fits over base for mounting. 4 for $11.00
