                I have taken the approach to my mmc that If it gets warm , 
even slightly, there is something wrong.  The heating will be caused by too 
much current flow which you are not going to get at normal break rates.  
The current will be spread almost evenly across all the parallel strings so 
that even in a system with many tens of parallel strings and an rms current 
in the hundreds of A the actual current through each cap string will be 
fairly small.  
The poor dissipation you spoke of is not a *problem* because the caps are 
being really thrashed long before they start to dissipate much heat.
