                         There are a whole slew of "PE's"........
LLDPE,LDPE,MHW,HDPE,VHMW,UHMW.......  (not to mention cross linking)
differences are mainly in mechanical properties but electrical properties
can vary wildly,seeing just the call out "PE" is like saying "steel"
.....and to really confuse things there are 2 basic "types" of PET;
thermoplastic PET(mylar is in this group) and themoset PET (eg FRP 
applications).
(i should not have watched "The Graduate" so many times!)
