Marius,

The RQ cylindrical gap works well.  If you build one, just use long enough 
brass bolts so you can make connections on each of the copper tube sections.  
Then you can start with a few gaps and increase the number to get where you 
want.  I built two of these and set the gaps at about .025" each.
