 hi,
I was using WinTesla to figure my gap width for a RQ/TCBOR style gap and it
 states that I should space
 my gaps a .1339in.(8 gaps) for a 9kV 30mA input....
but this would give me a overall gap width of 1.0712in.
Does this seem a little large or is it just me??

 Thanks for any help,
 Kevin D.

Kevin,

I haven't looked at that program, but you are correct - that is way too
large. .13" total sounds about right to me. With 8 gaps of .016 each. I
use 5 gaps of .030" each for my 12 kv, 60 ma system.
