	Two minor points.  First, most Tesla's contribution AC to motors was,
as you say, the induction motor.  However, other experimenters HAD used
AC with commutator motors. Not as successful as the "universal" motors
in use today.  Second, as you will see if you read Tesla's writing on
induction motors, most of his polyphase work was done with TWO phase
circuits.  His exquisite descriptions of their principles of operation
are models which few engineers follow today.
