RE: Multiple gap question



If the pipes always arc at the same point, that point will get much hotter
than if it fired equally along the length.  It an electrode gets hot, that
hurts its ability to quench, I think due to the hot metal spewing ions.
Good thought though.

		Is parallel even necessary?  Wouldn't a workable way of
having the Cu pipes 
		fire in the middle (as opposed to the ends) be to raise
opposite ends of 
		adjacent pipes somewhat so that only the midsections were at
the desired gap? 
		The pipes would then be oriented slightly "X" fashion so
that the middles 
		were the closest parts, encouraging firing at that point.
