Re: salient motors?

To John and all,

It just happens that I have 3 each 1,800 r.p.m. salient-pole
syncrhonous motors in stock, available now. One is
"legendary." It is the original motor powering the kVa Effects
Model 8J (15 foot long arcs). It is a sleeve-bushed motor rated
at 1/4 h.p. and has a 1/2" dia. shaft. The motor runs on 120 VAC
60 Hz. It is used but in excellent condition. Cost is $125.00. I
also have two brand new motors, also 1,800 r.p.m., salient-pole,
wired for 120 VAC (but can run on 208-240 with a simple
terminal change). These are rated at 1/3 h.p. so they can easily
drive a rotary disk up to 8" dia. Both of these new motors are
a standard NEMA-48 resiliant-mount frame. $175.00 ea. All
motors are plus shipping and for CA residents, please add 8.25%
sales tax. All three units available now. No reserve. First come,
first served. Please write to "wysock-at-ttr-dot-com" off the Tesla
List, if you are interested, or have any questions.

Best regards,
Bill Wysock.
