Dear Terry, all -

I would think that the 'floating neutral' thing is a valid concern for coilers,
especially in areas where the wiring isn't that great - in Brazil they don't
seem to use earth wires at all, and I got some fair shocks off my laptop and a
real *wallop* from the metal case of a HiFi, standing on a damp floor.
Running a
Tesla Coil in this situation without a dedicated ground could be mighty
dangerous! Good advce Terry to check outlets against a ground reference. One to
add to the Safety Sheet?
