Re: Capacitors, coils, xformers, oh my....

Woohooo!!!!!! YEAHH!!!!! Sundog is in da biznez! This is pretty wonderful
to me, seeing as to how I only have an 8am-5pm job, no wife, girlfriend,
etc, and only a few motorcycle-related functions a month (a few parties,
Toys for Tots kinda thing)...I gots lots of spare time to spend on this
hobby:) And with the info listed below, I got access to everything I need
within 1hours driving distance...I'm in Teslacoil heaven !!!!!

I have an idea, that is a good thought, but I don't believe to be very
practical, seeing as to how I'm such a novice at this. Next month I'm going
on a toy-run for a children's hospital (donating time and a free toy on
Easter Day to children in the hospital), and I *know* they'd all go nuts
over a Tesla show, but I *know* I don't have the skills nor expertise to put
one on. I don't even want to try, 'cause I know so little about how they
(tesla coils) act. Anybody in this area (clearwater-tampa-st.pete) area
interested? If so, drop me a line directly, and I'll bring it up to the ppl
running the event. The second bad-part, is that it *is* a hospital, and
they've got tons 'o sensitive equipment in there that I don't think would
take kindly to much RF... So I'm not getting my hopes up about this, but I
know it would make a lot of kids' day a lot more special :) If not there,
maybe at another function :) Anywho...off my soapbox and back to
scheming-mathing-and scrounging parts for my first coil! Still working on
all the ##'s for what I need ;) And in case you missed it, WOOHOO!!!!
