QEX articles

Hi Y'all

In the November/December 2000 issue of the ARRL
(American Radio Relay League) experimenters
publication QEX (don't ask!) there is a 10 page
article titled "Conductors for HF Antennas" that has
an analysis of various materials used for wire
antennas, resistance, Q, over frequency, etc. Flat
conductors are also considered vs. stranded and single
conductor round wires.

Same issue has an article on using thermistors in
homebrew projects, such as power device overheat
shutdown and temp compensation.

See www.arrl-dot-org for info. While not strictly "Tesla
Coil related" they are near enough to the mark and
worth checking out, IMHO (while dodging Terry's delete
key!).
