RE: NSTs with GFI




Hello Coilers,

One possible solution for the new generation of NSTs that have built
in GFI protection would be to use an isolation transformer ahead of
them.  I may just try a lash up using a regular NST or OBIT with a
GFI device in the power feed to it to see if it would work.

I've always used an isolation transformer with my coils just for an
extra measure of safety and have found that they also help to stop
any "nasties" from getting back into the power lines and causing
havok with my computers.
