Re: caps for EMMC use



i think we're missing the multi mini in mmc. 250v ac propylene caps
aren't all that much different then a 1600v dc cap. even if the 250 v is
dc they could be seriesed for 1750v with 7 caps.
so, for an mmc of .013uf-at-18750v 75 caps soldered in series would do
nicely. 75 caps is not that bad, i've seen mmc banks on some pages that
had at least that many. i have 250 .33uf-at-250v propylene caps that i plan
on soldering up some day, this would make a nice mmc for an nst and i've
often wondered about distributing the stress over more caps giving
better durability?
of coarse i would not pay that kind of a price for these, they can be
had surplus at ten or twenty cents each.
