The experimentation with tiny TC is very usefull. I
built my secondaries on 1.25" and 1.6" diameter PVC
forms. I alimented me coils from ignition coils drived
with dimmers from mains. Work frequency around 1.2-
1.4 Mhz range. Max spark lenght = 4-4.8 inches. You
can let the sparks go to a metal rod held in your hand
without a sensation of electrocution. They can ve
mountated quickly, on a table and are great for
demonstrations.
