Jonathon,

The resonant value is about 0.013uf and LTR is around 0.02uf. The peak
voltage for 12000 is 1.414 * 12000 or nearly 17000 volts. Six 2000 volt
caps would be pushing it. How about 9 of the 0.15uf caps at 2000 volts?
The value is 0.0167uf, kind of low range LTR with a good voltage rating of
18000 volts.

Regards,

Pete Komen

Hello all,

I've got a 12/60 NST and am also deciding on a tank cap value. Would 1
string of 6 be OK? .025µf -at- 12000V... or should I go with say 7 caps, or 8
caps and 2 strings??? Any advice GREATLY appreciated..
