Brian Basura can probbly help you out. he has done some work with dc coils.
also i recommended to him to use fr307 which is fast recovery same otherwise
as 1n5408. If you look  at Rectron i think is the maker,try the mcm
electronic site. If not give me a hollar and i will look for it. cul brian
