Chris -

This is a rare time where I will respond...

As Jeff Parisse pointed out, this simply *ISN'T* a stunt to be
undertaken without a LOT of understanding and risk. Frankly, even though
it's 'fun' and visually a sight to see, it never the less still scares
the crap out of me in thinking of just what COULD GO WRONG.

I've been bit from my coil. I actually managed to live to tell about it.
I was lucky -- while impressive, the power level of my coil was
fortunately low enough that the averaged power contained within the
discharge was low. Also, I had a TRAINED OPERATOR on the power
controller who had a FAST reaction time. Good thing...

People HAVE BEEN KILLED attempting to do this.

Don't.

PS - why not simply contact Jeff or myself and arrange to have us
perform the stunt for your group? We take the risk, you stay alive.
