X-ray machines use DC so keep in mind that this 63kV friend is intended for
DC use. As for connecting it in series with other capacitors, I'm not sure
what the goal of this is. The voltage across caps in series is going to be
highest across the smaller capacitance units.  So with 2uF and 0.1uF there
will be 20 times the voltage across the smaller cap which means it is doing
all the work. The 2uF cap is pretty much there just conducting AC and not
adding any energy storage to your tank circuit. In fact it is decreasing the
capacitance and energy stored in both caps collectively.

here is the formula for capacitors in series:


     1           1             /
------- + -------      /  1 = total capacitance
   cap1     cap2       /

The answer will be in the units you use for cap1 and cap1. If both are uF
your answer is in uF.

Now if you really just want less capacitance in your primary to get a higher
resonant frequency, it might be easier to just decrease the inductance of
your primary. Remove a turn or so, make the diameter of the coil less or
something like that.
