Hi, i use a fan schroud for a second large toroid. the only problem i have
is it is taped together with electrical tape and once in a while ill get a
burn spot and then it acts like breakout point. the indentation on one
side(clearance space for the motor) doesnt seem to affect operation. I have
dryer duct but havent made a toroid with it yet. but i suspect it wont make
much difference. i have looked at a lotta tesla sites and see toroids made
of dryer duct all the time. sure a nice alum spun toroid is probably best
but nothing beats a toroid made for 10 bucks that works! cul brian
