Hi wade, well my #3 tesla uses a neon 9kv 60 ma and i have run it for 1/2
hour at a time steady. I use a boost transformer and neon sees146 volts
 ac. my system is barebones no protection,no ground and no filter. i dont
recommend my way...cul brian
