None at all, the gap arrived, we opened the box, set the spacing (2 calling
cards per gap) and patched it into the loop. Nothing more, and it's a night
and day difference. We're getting regular arcs to the FLOOR! I had to put a
shield over the MMC because we were getting arcs to it.

Mark Broker showed up Sun morning and we didn't get to bed till 0300hrs.
Tonight we didn't get done at the lab until 0130hrs, and I don't think we
ran the coil for 2 minutes total. It's been a thrash and bash weekend on
everything else. We had a bored meeting (with the landlord, send money, lol)
then we spent 2 hours cleaning the tanks out so we can sut them this week.
We're rather motivated on the tank removal now that we REALLY need the high
ceilings of the tank room for our interim High Voltage Lab.

(to the members)
Who wants to build the winding jig for the Gemini Coil? We have a 12"x20'
piece of PVC that will need 3 windings. The coilforms will each be 12"x6'
but I would like to wind them all at once before the tube gets cut. It's
harder, but it will ensure that the coils are EXACT duplicates, even the
spare. I really want them to be as perfect as possible.

What is the longest realistic streamer length for a bipolar twin coil system
at 10kVA 13.8kV?
