Over-volting NSTs

Original poster: "by way of Terry Fritz <twftesla-at-qwest-dot-net>" <Kidd6488-at-aol-dot-com>

Hello again,
My 12/60 says "Input:120V" on it. I checked the mains voltage in my
house, and It was 123V. Does that mean I'll get 12.3kV output, because of the
1:100 ratio?
If by using a variac, I apply 140V to it, would I get 14kV? Also, what
is the maximum you can (semi)-safely overvolt an NST?
Hope I havent asked too many questions this....Month!
