I wasn't really worried about that. The way the RSG will be set up (if I
decide to keep the rotor) I don't think that there would really be any HV
present on the shaft. There will be 5 sets of stationary electrodes (its a
really neat idea I had to get 575 bps w/ a low duty cycle on each electrode)
and the HV doesn't even need a conductive rotor, I just chose Al because of
its strength. I may ground the shaft if I need to, but I think that that may
cause more problems than it would fix. Plus I've got another motor just like
this one- just in case...

Right now I'm not even sure that I'm going to use this setup, it was just
another idea that I thought might work well. I've got another one (idea that
is) brewing right now so we'll see what happens.
