	Acquire them!  If you'll go to:

you will find a Scientific American Amateur Scientist article on field
mills which includes a useful circuit diagram. The circuit is probably
more complicated than necessary (any high-input-impedance AC VTVM would
be usable) it's not too complicated to build and should work fine.
