Re: What to do with spool while winding?

Hi All!

For what it's worth, I just use a long ratchet extension as the axle and
a milk crate. Put the axle through one of the many holes in the crate, slap
the spool on it, axle through the holes on the other side. I've wound 40ga
this way without breaking it. 32ga works great with this method, but this
is assuming you're dealing with a cleanly-wound spool of wire (like you'd
get from a manufacturer). The only way I broke the wire this way was to
have too much tension on the wire and hit the switch for the winder.

Anywho, just my $.02 :) Shad
