I attached all eight supports to my base, then simply
threaded the tubing through the holes. Hard to
describe exactly how I did it, but the 17/64" holes
have enough slop to allow me to advance the tubing one
turn at a time. So I wasn't sliding the whole 50'
simultaneously, I simply scooched it (a technical
term) little by little. I'd advance the innermost
turn, then the next, then the next, until I got to the
outside, then repated. It probably took several hours
and resulted in sore fingers, but I'd do it again.
This is probably impossible with 3/8" tubing though.
