RE: triggered gap for MOT?

I'm working on a Mot powered semi-triggered spark gap tesla coil (it is a 
vacuum tube tesla coil that implies a pulse-grade russian tube that can 
switch 10Kv -at- 10Amps for 10mS). For my project a single not 2000W current 
limited Mot is enough because the switching frequency is low (about 30-50Hz) 
and permits higher tank capacitance (about 1uF) obtaining higher power 
outputs with low power consuption.
