Brett, 

I did indeed drill a hole in the BASE of the secondary endcap, to put the 1/2"
x 3" nylon bolt (that I got at Home Depot) through. As far as the toroid, I had
a porcelain insulator that had mounting screws and a bolt for the toroid to
mount on. At neither end, however did the wire or HV actualy enter the coil
form.
