Re: The Geek Group, does it again!

Hey Duck and All....

Most if not all of us appreciate what the Geek Group has done with the MMC
cap's. Awesome cap's for really cheap. I just got back from Mark Stolz's
house in Pearland (houston basically) TX, we ran his 2" coil again. With the
geek cap's, they are amazing. That tiny coil was *constantly* arcing to the
ground --- no streamers. Powerarcs, white/blue/hot out to 39". And the
secondary is 12" long.

Needless to say the capacitors are awesome. 0.15uF -at- 2kVDC. Big round white
axial-lead caps. Mount 'em anyhow you like. Mark prefers plexiglass, I prefer
perfboard.

Magnet wire huh? Now THAT that sounds like some good stuff.........and 1500
POUNDS of it?!

Take care all. To summarize:

1. Through dealing with them, I've learned that The Geek Group is a great
organization to be involved with. Great people, great goals.

2. The Geek capacitors are really good.

Take care, have a good one.
