It's the adrenalin rush for the serious Scientist and Engineer, the placebo
effect for the True Believer, and stock in trade for the Con Artist. Based on
his abilities, his life experiences and his origins, Tesla himself was an
interesting blend of all three. Most of the debate concerning Tesla's ideas and
accomplishments is really over which aspect of his personality he was speaking
from at any one time.
