The Wavetek Model 188 Function Generator is the Tesla coiler's ultimate
oscillator. It does everything a coiler needs for testing Tesla coils.
Frequencies to 4 meg, high voltage and current output of 100 ma into 50
ohms. Low distortion, sine, triangle, square waves. Are you looking for two
humps? Sweeps to find the TC resonant frequencies. Variable pulse width, TTL
Syn Output, DC Offset. Frequency control by control voltage for horizontal
drive signal. Price of $165 includes copy of manual. Every serious TC
researcher should have one. Click on

    www.mgte-dot-com

Click on TESLA. Note that there are 50 KV probes also. Equip your lab like a
pro.

That is an untrue statement. The HP 200x Tube Audio oscillator is still one
of the best audio oscillators out there primarily because its one of the
only
ones I've ever seen to put out high voltage. (High voltage meaning greater
than 30VAC in this case)
