What equipment is getting interfered with?
I put a little RFI line filter between my SSTC circuit (which operates at
400 kHz) and the power cord. These are available surplus for a few bucks.
sure you use a good ground, and see that your DC supply has adequate RF
caps across it. This means ceramics, mica, or plastic film caps in addition
whatever electrolytic smoothing capacitors you may have (which do not bypass
very well.) I use these measures on my FET coil and have not had any
complaints or equipment go nuts.
Im getting TV and radio interference.I have put my 555 timer into a metal
enclosure including a regulated PSU.Do i conncet this to house ground?
Also, I am having timer chip probs. They refuse to work with 50% duty cycle
config. They work fine with the 2 pot version. Why?
