CLOSE!  Very close.  It's the Lorenz force vector which is just another EM
manifestation from  the S force or Poynting Vector Force.  In an electric wave
in free space the Poynting vector is at right angles to both E and B AND in the
direction of wave propagation.  It's a Longitudinal vector force wave.  Seems
to me Mr. Tesla may have mentioned this in passing.
