Yes, you are right, and oil might make one last a long time. but getting the
tar out without damaging the windings can be messy and difficult. My brother
uses Obit's from the junkyard and they dont last long,probably already
became undependable for the cracked tar....my 3 neons all failed for that
reason. cul brian f.
